General Job Description:

As a CNC Hydraulic Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating hydraulic press machines and performing a wide range of tasks to ensure the production of high-quality components. This includes setup, operation, inspection, documentation, and maintenance—all while maintaining safety and supporting continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete Anel Basic Training (ABT): Participate in foundational training programs and adhere to Anel’s policies and procedures.
  • Safety First: Follow the Anel Hazard Assessment Program including proper use of PPE, safe lifting, and equipment inspection.
  • Setup & Operation: Load tooling, set up machine programs, and run operations to spec. Perform program adjustments and final offset calibrations as needed.
  • Inspect & Document: Ensure accuracy through first-part inspections and dimensional checks. Report any defects or reworks using the proper system.
  • Material Handling: Palletize and tag finished parts, verifying counts and proper documentation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Submit weekly improvement ideas, uphold 5S standards, and contribute to cost-saving goals.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Complete daily checklists, grease machinery, and communicate maintenance needs promptly.
  • Labor Reporting: Accurately claim labor via the mainframe system.

Job Levels & growth

  • Level 1: Performs duties under supervision after completing ABT (90 days minimum)
  • Level 2: Performs all duties independently (180 days minimum)
